SB Marine Trimming mainly uses four
different grades of clear depending on what the job requires: |

Roll Glass is a high clarity, UV
stabilised calendared clear PVC. It is a more flexible clear used mainly
on removable or semi-removable covers. |

Vybak 2 is a press polished, UV
stabilised sheet clear, with superior clarity and dimensional stability.
Used mainly for spray dodgers and flybridge clears, it provides a high
quality finish. |

Strata Glass is a premium coated
vinyl sheet clear. It has a protective coating which resists fine line
scratches, as well as discolouration due to environmental conditions. It
blocks out 100% UV rays, with near perfect visual clarity. Strata Glass
is used on spray dodgers and flybridge clears. |

Ocean Clear is a semi-rigid
polycarbonate sheeting specifically designed for marine windows and
enclosures. Its clarity is comparable to glass, with scratch and impact
resistance. It has a unique coating to minimise UV degradation,
supported by a manufacturer 5 year limited warranty against excessive
yellowing. Ocean Clear is a new product to Australia, but has been used
for many years in America. It is a more expensive product, but
definitely the 'Rolls Royce' of clear! |
