About Us
SB Marine Trimming is a family owned and
run business. Shane and Jenny Beashel established the business in 2002,
with Shane making covers on his own out of a shared premises. In 2008,
they now have their own space, and employ two full time trimmers.
Shane started as an upholsterer, where he
gained his trade in 1991. Over time, this led to making boat cushions,
and the marine industry really appealed to him. He decided to give
Marine Trimming a go, and did the then tafe course. He
worked in the industry for many years, and with ideas of his own, he started up SB Marine Trimming.
Michael Rosman came on board
soon after the business established. Michael is a very skilled and
experienced trimmer that Shane has known and worked with numerous times
over the years. Together they make a fantastic team! Michael now
oversees their apprentice Tim.
SB Marine Trimming
concentrates mainly on exterior covers, with a
network of local Shipwrights, Marine Mechanics, Marine Electricians,
Marine Upholsterers, Stainless Steel Fabricators and Boat Detailers to
call upon. They design and produce covers for a number of new boat manufacturers, as
well as re-fitting existing covers and frames.
SB Marine Trimming is a busy and
progressive business, and is constantly looking at new designs,
materials and techniques to make their covers the best in Sydney. |
